REbalance Yoga Mentorship Programme

With Senior Yoga Teacher, Mentor + UKCP Registered Body Psychotherapist: Sandra Robinson

This mentorship programme is an amalgamation of Sandra's extensive experience of teaching yoga, mentoring teachers and working with groups, studying psychotherapy and seeing clients in a psycho-therapeutic setting. It’s a synthesis of Forrest Yoga and Body Psychotherapy, a unique blend that invites you to deepen into yourself – on a human and a professional level. Since the personal process is intrinsically connected with the teaching one, this programme invites you to inhabit more of your body, come back home to yourself and let go into the experience of the present moment. The programme's intent is to create a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental learning space where exploration, growth and sustainable change can occur. Over the years, Sandra has witnessed the transformational power of groups and the healing potential community holds for the individual; therefore close attention will be paid to group dynamics and relationships. 
 
The training is highly experiential and open to individuals who have completed a foundational teacher training of any yoga style.

This programme includes a two day online part and two 4-day workshops, including one 60 minute individual mentoring session, as well as ongoing email support throughout.

What does the training entail?
  • The daily schedule will run from 9am to either 5.30 or 6.30pm depending on the day. 
  • The day will start with 3 hours of intention setting, asana practice and meditation, which will be followed by a 2 hour lunch break.
  • The afternoon sessions will explore how to teach in an effective, authentic, compelling and trauma-sensitive way. You will learn how to hold space for your students, sequence well, set intentions and have healthy boundaries. 
  • You will teach a group class in a hybrid way, i.e. a combination of in house and live streamed, and receive detailed video feedback in a constructive way. 
  • There will be time to ask questions and reflect.

Requirements 
The requirements for entering into and successfully completing this programme as a Mentee are:
  • Successfully completed a Foundation Training - regardless of the style.
  • Participate 100% in all Modules.

Dates for 2025:
  • Module 1: 13th and 14th of September online via zoom AND
  • Module 2: 10th until 13th of October in person in Peterborough AND
  • Module 3: 12th until 15th of December in person in Peterborough

Cost: 
- Non-refundable deposit of £250 plus £850 payable by 13th of August 2025 OR- Non-refundable deposit of £250 plus installments of £160 spread over 6 months (Payable on the first of the following months: 2025: October, November, December, 2026: January, February, March)


Cancellation policy: Cancellation with more than 1 month notice will incur a £50 administration charge. No refunds are given with less than 1 month notice from date of the 1st module. No refunds on deposits. If the training needs to be cancelled or postponed full refunds, including deposits, will be given.
