Who is Diana Crosby?

Diana’s yoga journey started when she took up yoga as physiotherapy after an accident left her wheelchair bound for six months. She soon discovered that the benefits of yoga went far beyond the physical. Since then, she has enjoyed participating in a wide variety of styles of yoga including Hatha, Sivananda, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Jivamukti.

In July 2019, Diana retired from primary school teaching, after thirty-six years of working in local schools, and trained as a yoga teacher. She qualified to teach adult yoga with “Camyoga” in Cambridge and qualified to teach children’s yoga with “Special Yoga” in London. She now enjoys sharing the joy of yoga with all ages and stages.

What does Diana do at Equilibrium?

Diana teaches Hatha classes at the Huntingdon studio.

Fascinating facts about Diana...

  1. Diana loves walking, especially if there are mountains or waterfalls involved, and volunteers as a health walks leader.
  2. As well as yoga, wildlife watching is another passion of hers. She enjoys taking part in wildlife surveys and conservation work and is hoping to spot a whale one day.
  3. She can sometimes be found with a group of children in the local library, playing her guitar, singing nursery rhymes and reading stories.
  4. Her favourite quote is “Yoga is a light which, once lit, will never dim” B.K.S. Iyengar
