Who is Symi Fuchs?

Born in Bavaria, Symi travelled the world until she was 36. In 2015 she completed the Forrest Yoga Teacher Training in San Francisco with Ana Forrest and has been changing people’s lives ever since, passionate about helping people awaken to their untapped energies, regenerate self-care, vital health, natural spirituality, and passion with compassion. Since that training, Symi has been evolving her understanding and learning and is now a UK-registered Certified Level 4 E-RYT 500 Senior Forrest Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals, as well as an Reiki Master and EFT Practitioner.

Symi’s an outdoor girl and has had a call to the wild all her life. The outdoors has always been a great healing place for her. Nature lifts her spirit. From forest bathing to getting some scramble time on big rugged landscapes, she knows there is something so magical about being active outdoors – rain, shine or snow! She’s a BMC qualified Mountain Leader, BCAP Paddle Sports Instructor and eWild Swimming Coach.

Symi can’t imagine life without yoga. Forrest Yoga touched her body, mind and soul, offering her strength to face her fears, and a platform from which she could make life-changing decisions.

Symi teaches from an intuitive, well-developed understanding of the human body and psyche. Healing modalities, including body psychotherapy, naturopathic remedies, ohashi bodywork, and hands-on healing, always inform her work.

Symi is a handstand junkie, a dog lover, a life experimenter, an uplifter, a laser beam of love and a deep emotional diver. She’s had a call to the wild all her life, loving the natural world, the movement of wind through the leaves and adventure in general. She’s a Mountain Leader in training too. Symi has an infectious enthusiasm and wants to pioneer the positive impact yoga and the great outdoors have on physical and mental wellbeing.
