Kids' Yoga Saturday with Jill
In children's yoga classes, kids are encouraged to explore moving and breathing in a playful way. They'll practise simple yoga poses, play games and do mindful colouring and crafts.
Each class has a theme which ties all the activities together and allows them to exercise their brains alongside their bodies as we add a little new knowledge on their journey.
Every yoga class is different; children learn, have fun, collaborate, celebrate themselves, relax and energize - all in one class. The most important part is that they will use all of their senses to truly experience the joys of doing yoga.

Yoga & Relaxation for Children: Tues & Thurs with Julie B.
Learn traditional postures and breathing techniques whilst having fun. Each class will encourage children to delight in moving their bodies in a non-stressful and non-competitive atmosphere. The classes will help children develop an understanding and awareness of how their bodies move and with this knowledge a positive change. The quiet, focussed, unhurried nature of Yoga practice encourages qualities that assist children in coping with their busy and sometimes stressful lives. Taking time to breath has many benefits increased relaxation and concentration, instilling a sense of calm and wellbeing.
Each class will include Yoga Poses and Asanas, music and guided relaxation using meditation stories.
The classes will be lead by Julie Blayney. Julie has completed over 500 hours of teacher training plus the British Wheel of Yoga teaching Yoga to children and Teens. Julie has discovered a special talent for encouraging and supporting children with special and developmental needs and adapts her classes to be fully inclusive. Quoting from one of her teachers “you don’t focus on what you think they can or can’t do you just get on with it!”
