Who is Kate Marsh?Kate originally trained as a dancer and toured with a repertory company before starting her family.
She came to Forrest yoga when she was looking for a practice that was genuinely accessible to her, as someone with a disability she was always trying to fit into ways of body work that didn’t make space for her different physicality, through Forrest she found teachers, mentors and a practice that supported and celebrated all ways of working and focussed on the individual. In 2019 Kate qualified as a Forrest yoga teacher and is delighted to be leading classes at equilibrium. Kate’s classes strongly emphasise and support adaptation by each participant, Kate aims to make her teaching fully accessible to all regardless of level or experience. Kate continues to work in the he arts as a producer and researcher and is always looking to intersect these parts of her work with her yoga practice. Kate has two teenage sons and spends her free time binge watching Netflix and dancing around her kitchen.
