Biodynamic Massage
What is Biodynamic Massage?
Biodynamic Massage is a form of therapeutic massage, which works not only on the physical, but also on the energetic and emotional body. It aims to nurture the inner joy and spark in order to facilitate the body’s natural tendency towards healing and health. Biodynamic Massage is based on the philosophy that whatever our life story is it is stored in our body, which is hence an expression of our life experiences. Therefore by working on the body we not only have the possibility to change the physical structure, but also the emotional make-up and the mental state. Biodynamic Massage can benefit people with a wide range of challenges, such as depression, low self-esteem and stress-related illnesses like headaches and tensions. This form of massage explores how we can be different in this world and how we can relate differently to the people around us to lead a more fulfilled, happier and richer life. It is about creating space for people to simply be. About Sandra
Sandra is a certified Biodynamic Massage Therapist through CBPC in Cambridge. She is also a qualified yoga teacher and owns Equilibrium Yoga and Well-being Centres in Peterborough and Huntingdon. What to expect
During the first session a longer consultation period in the start and a shorter massage can be expected in order to find out whether the therapy is suitable. If it is established that this form of therapy could be beneficial, a course of 6 sessions is recommended as biodynamic massage like other therapeutic processes will take time in order to experience sustained change. The massage can be done clothed or partially clothed. In order to create a deeper connection between the therapist and the client, no oils are used, which will help the contact to be deeper. Price: £42 for 60 minutes. Availability: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Equilibrium Yoga and Well-being Centre Peterborough and Equilibrium Yoga and Well-being Centre Huntingdon.
