Deep Tissue Massage
Loosen up and extend your yoga practice with Dr Ian Tennant’s deep tissue massage. This massage treatment helps remove tension in muscles and other soft tissues – and allows you to move deeper into asanas.
Yoga and massage can work hand in hand to improve muscle function. Deep tissue massage therapy can also help active people recover quicker from training, improve posture and rehabilitate after injury.
Sessions usually last a total of 1 hour and the first session includes a 10-15 minute consultation. After your massage Ian may give you techniques to practice at home to help maintain the effects of your treatment for longer.
About Dr Ian Tennant
Ian has a background in medical sciences. For the past 10 years he has worked on a range of health and environmental issues. He is a members of the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage (ISRM) and currently offers massage therapy (sports, abdominal & sacral, remedial and stress relieving) and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching at Equilibrium – helping you to feel energised and at ease - all day, every day.
